Q: My saddle isn't working!

The basic usage of the saddle is to rez it, then sit on it.

Attachments cannot be sat on. Therefore, attaching the saddle is counter-productive. Instead, we use a vehicle that simulates flight, requiring both the dragon and the passengers to sit on it.

There are two ways to rez the saddle. One is to pull it out of the Miscellanea folder that came with the dragon and rez it on the ground. The other, easier method, is to click on the saddle button on the HUD, which will rez a copy.

Once the saddle is rezzed, the dragon can right click on either the leather, or the red ball. Generally, when rezzing from the HUD, the red ball is not visible. You will have to take a few steps back or to the side to see it.

Passengers can sit on the green sit targets.

The green sit targets automatically disappear after 30 seconds. Anyone can click on the saddle to make them reappear.

There are two undocumented commands that the saddle supports. /kick and /lock. The /lock command will prevent anyone else from sitting on the saddle. The /kick command, followed by a few characters of the person's name, will unseat them from the saddle.
