Dragon Issues-BurnoutplzQ: While I'm waiting for you to add a toggle, how do I disable the breath and fireball? In short, until v1.2 you'll need to delete the MD-X control_fireball script in the dragon's head. It's recommend you make a backup before doing this. This can be done by detaching the head, and copy/pasting it, then renaming one of the heads to reflect that you will be changing it. Adding "(nofire)" onto the end should be sufficient. Step by step instructions on how to do this follows. 1) While wearing the dragon's head, right-click edit on the dragon's head. 2) If the edit window does have not the lower section enabled, click "More >>" in the lower right. 3) Click on the "Content" tab in the upper right of the lower section, just below the "<< Less" button that used to say "More >>". 4) Find the script named "MD-X control_fireball" where "X" is the size of the dragon.
5) Right click the script and select "Delete." This will disable the fireball/breath completely. After deleting the script, in order to click on things while in mouselook, it may be necessary to reattach the head. In SL, "reattach" means to detach, wait five seconds, then attach it again. The wait is necessary as SL needs time to save the piece back to the asset server. If you wear it again too quickly, it will put on the copy from before you had worn it, losing all your changes. This applies for any attachment in Second Life, be it a HUD, hair, or dragon snout. |
