These release notes are in the planning stages and are not necessarily a prediction of the future. Only those items listed as "In beta testing" are currently finished and certain to be in the next update.
Planned Changes for Version 1.2
Version 1.2 will be the last major bug fix update. After this, we'll be getting input from people in the Seawolf Avatars group regarding what new features they want and working on those.
To push important updates out faster, we've decided to trim down what's going to be in 1.2, and release some smaller, faster updates afterwards, called 1.2.1, 1.2.2, etc.
Planned New Features
All Dragons:
- Auto-updater will be fully enabled.
- Tongue flicker and stick out.
- Toggle switches
- Flight enhancer disabler
- Firebreath/fireball disabler
- Underwater ambient sound disabler
- No swimming in water -- treat it like land (for those with underground houses)
1.2.1 and later
Biped Dragons:
- Female variation (might be just a new chest, but won't have Extreme MammoriesTM) (Work started)
All Dragons:
- Invisible flight wings (when closed) will have their major pieces shrunk down when not in use. (if it's easy and quick enough)
- Posing stands
Planned changes for Version 1.3
Version 1.3 will be a bit larger and contain new content adapted from our new avatar (release sometime Summer/Fall 2009). We're not going to mention most of it yet. :)
HUD
- Brand new HUD.
- Utilizes llDetectedTouch, which means buttons don't need to be separate prims, which more importantly means the prim count should be incredibly tiny.
- Livery 2.0. This will include the llDetectedTouch-enabled color selection box which is common for color-select prim avatars now, but it's also going to include way more than that. We didn't have this sort of color selection on release because llDetectedTouch wasn't yet fully implemented in SL at the time.
- Old liveries will be automatically converted to the new livery system.
- The HUD itself is going to be completely re-designed to be universal and modular for all the avatars we'll produce. Overall it'll be nicer looking and more organized.
- We had quite a few people say 10 Livery slots wasn't enough, so we're changing that to 100 available livery save slots. It's flexible. We could do a thousand if we wanted (even more), but we're guessing 100 should be reasonable. Let us know if it won't be. ;)
1.3: Other Stuff
There's quite a bit more to 1.3, but we're not going to mention what yet.
